Nathaniel Houston Lamb

So I have been terrible about updating my blog! Here is a quick update...Nathaniel is growing every day. He has three teeth, and he is babbling dadadada mamamama all the time. I am waiting for the day he looks right at Shane and says "dada"! He is also very mobile now, crawling and pulling up on everything and walking along furniture all around the living room. He is still sleeping great. He is now eating baby food, and loving it! The fruits and organic yogurt are his favorites...he likes the sweet foods.
Christmas is going to be so fun around our house. We haven't put up the tree yet, but I know the lights and all the pretty ornaments are going to be a big temptation...lucky me I get to be the bad guy all day. haha!
We are driving up to Rockford for Christmas Day to be with my parents and sister and her family and brother and his family. Since the last Christmas we were together two years ago there was one grand child Kaleb, now there are 4 grand kids! Kaleb 2 yrs, Dakotah 1 yr, Henry 10 mo, and Nathaniel 9 mo. Needles to say Christmas morning it going to be a riot!

GO BLUE RAIDERS!!!

We went to our first MTSU football game last weekend. It was the black out game so we got Nathaniel a black MT onesie. He looked so cute! Cousin Henry and My sister in law Britni were in town this weekend, so the cousins had another photo op.

Over Labor Day weekend we went to Rockford to visit my parents. We got to spend a lot of time with cousin Henry!

Baby Dedication

My parents came in town this July for Nathaniels Baby Dedication at Church. We had a lot of friends and family come and show love and support for Nathaniel, and commit to help raise him to know God.

Summer

So, apologize to everyone who frequents my blog...mainly my sister and Molly, for not updating more regularly this summer. Here are some pictures of our summer.

Swimming

In the last week we have been swimming 3 times. Nathaniel loves the water and he is so cute in his little swim trunks and matching hat! It is wonderful to have Shane's Dad and Deborah so close and it is very nice of them to share their pool with us when ever we want to swim.

Fathers Day

We had a great Fathers Day. It started with taking Shane to McDonald's for breakfast and playing on the play ground. Then we went to Church with Shane's Dad, and went out to lunch with the fam. Later that night we went to our cousin Chad and Jodi's house to have dinner with the Lambs and McClaran's. All the little cousins had fun swimming in Sophie's pool.

rolling over

Nathaniel has learned a new trick. He is on his back and pulls his little abs in and rolls to the left into his tummy. When he gets there he hates it and will fuss until we turn him to his back. below is the video of him turning over and the top picture is him crying after I had to turn him right side up.

Last weekend we went to Unionville with Jace and Jenny Briant. Jenny and I played VB together at MTSU and her husband Jace teaches and coaches at Unionville HIgh School. We went there to walk in a 5k fundraiser for their soccer team..

First Shots!

Last week Nathaniel had his first shots, and he did great. He cried a little but over all he was a champ. He weighs 13 lbs 11 oz, and is 24 1/2 inches long. The doctor told me that is the 90th-95th percentile, so he is a big healthy boy!

This week my sister in law Britni and my nephew Henry are in town for the state tennis tournament that she helps facilitate. We got some cure pictures of the best buddies and Nathaniel is decked out in his MT gear. SO CUTE!

More Pictures From Rockford

I got to see my Weyrauch boys while we were home but I only took one picture with Brigham...sorry boys!

Rockford Trip

Our first family trip to Rockford went great. Nathaniel did great on both flights. It was such and answer to prayer that on the way there and back there were helpful people all around us. From the security to the people that we sat next to on the plane. The nicest person was the gentleman sitting next to me on the way to Chicago. He was about 40 with two little boys so we were talking about family, work and Nathaniel on the flight. When we landed Nathaniel proceeded to have a poopie blow out all up his back. The flight attendant had to reach up and get my diaper bag and the gentleman sitting next to me was like what can I help with or hold? so I pass Nathaniel off to him to hold while I strip the dirty clothes and the lady across the isle offered to help, so she was holding the wipes as I had Nathaniel on my lap to change his diaper and put him in clean clothes. Nathaniel was cooing and smiling the whole time!

While we were in Rockford we had a great time with all the cousins Kaleb 2, Dakotah 1, Henry 3 mo, and Nathaniel 2 mo. Both Great Grandma's were there and we had a very fun time together.
