More Pictures From Rockford

I got to see my Weyrauch boys while we were home but I only took one picture with Brigham...sorry boys!

Rockford Trip

Our first family trip to Rockford went great. Nathaniel did great on both flights. It was such and answer to prayer that on the way there and back there were helpful people all around us. From the security to the people that we sat next to on the plane. The nicest person was the gentleman sitting next to me on the way to Chicago. He was about 40 with two little boys so we were talking about family, work and Nathaniel on the flight. When we landed Nathaniel proceeded to have a poopie blow out all up his back. The flight attendant had to reach up and get my diaper bag and the gentleman sitting next to me was like what can I help with or hold? so I pass Nathaniel off to him to hold while I strip the dirty clothes and the lady across the isle offered to help, so she was holding the wipes as I had Nathaniel on my lap to change his diaper and put him in clean clothes. Nathaniel was cooing and smiling the whole time!

While we were in Rockford we had a great time with all the cousins Kaleb 2, Dakotah 1, Henry 3 mo, and Nathaniel 2 mo. Both Great Grandma's were there and we had a very fun time together.

Mothers Day

We had a great first Mothers Day. As you can see in the pictures Shane and Nathaniel gave me the most beautiful flowers. I also got the sweetest cards from both of them and a new sports watch! We had a good Mothers Day Shane took us to Cracker Barrel for breakfast then we took a nap. I have wanted to go golfing for months so we went to our friends house who has a 5 hole par 3 golf course on his property. It was very fun, but I need to practice! Sunday night we went to Don and Ginger Lamb's, (Shane's Aunt and Uncle) for supper. I love being a Mom and look forward to many more great Mothers days like this one.

Aunt Chelsea

Today Nathaniel and I got up and went for a walk then we met Grandma Kathy at Church for the National Day of Prayer event.

In the afternoon Aunt Chelsea came over and ran around town with us. I had to get new tags for my car and run to the bank. It was so nice having Chelsea there to sit in the car with Nathaniel while I took care of my stuff.
Nathaniel is getting so big and changing every day. He is babbling, drooling, and he is smiling at us more...I still don't think he really knows what he is doing, but he is so cute!

cute

Nathaniel is 6 weeks old, and he is so big! As we can estimate by weighing ourselves with out and then with Nathaniel he weighs 12 pounds, and is changing everyday. Shane thinks he smiled for the first time but I think it was an accident because we couldn't get him to do it again. I can't wait until he does smile for the first time, he has killer dimples just like Shane's. I love it!
This week was my first Sunday back singing on the worship team at church and Grandma Kathy was able to watch Nathaniel while I was busy. We took some pictures of him all dressed up in his cute fancy little lamb outfit. I was pleasantly surprised that one of his pacifiers matches this outfit...I guess that is the one way you can accessorise little boys. I can't buy him hair bows, but I can get matching pacifiers!
